JOHN MCCAIN WINS THE DEBATE!!!

Nice! Think John McCain's campaign is hedging their bets on a win?

Apparently, they have already jumped the gun and have released ads showing "McCain Wins Debate!"

It's really nice that we don't have a say in that. Or that people haven't heard him utter a single word in the debate that's happening tonight, before they declare victory.

Someone's getting fired over this!

Sarah Palin can still see Russia from her house

In the video below, Anderson Cooper discusses Sarah Palin's interview with Katie Couric. Methinks no one was amused with this little tidbit. Why on Earth would they put Palin with someone like Katie Couric, knowing that all we would get out of it is fodder for posts like these?

Next up: I'm an expert on aquatics expert because I live next to a lake!

How many times must she repeat the same crap until she starts believing that garbage?

John McCain is going to attend tonight's debate

Republican Presidential candidate John McCain has agreed to attend tonight's debate against Barack Obama.

Even though Congress hasn't come to an agreement in the bailout, he has reversed his earlier decision not to attend.

After the debate, McCain plans to dash back off to Washington to "help" address the financial crisis and the bailout plan.

I hope he remembers where his office is there. You know he hasn't voted on anything since at least April. Such a hard worker!

His campaign released a statement saying, "He is optimistic that there has been significant progress toward a bipartisan agreement now that there is a framework for all parties to be represented in negotiations.

But where is OUR representation? Do any of us want to foot the bill for this insanely large amount of money???

Sarah Palin has foreign policy experience

In a recent interview Sarah Palin talked to Katie Couric and she was asked the question that's been on everyone's minds.

What foreign policy experience? Your proximity to Russia?

Okay, maybe that's not exactly how the interview went, but you get the idea.

Here's the play-by-play:

COURIC: You've cited Alaska's proximity to Russia as part of your foreign policy experience. What did you mean by that?
PALIN: That Alaska has a very narrow maritime border between a foreign country, Russia, and on our other side, the land– boundary that we have with– Canada. It– it's funny that a comment like that was– kind of made to– cari– I don't know, you know? Reporters–
COURIC: Mock?
PALIN: Yeah, mocked, I guess that's the word, yeah.
COURIC: Explain to me why that enhances your foreign policy credentials.
PALIN: Well, it certainly does because our– our next door neighbors are foreign countries. They're in the state that I am the executive of. And there in Russia–
COURIC: Have you ever been involved with any negotiations, for example, with the Russians?
PALIN: We have trade missions back and forth. We– we do– it's very important when you consider even national security issues with Russia as Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where– where do they go? It's Alaska. It's just right over the border. It is– from Alaska that we send those out to make sure that an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation, Russia, because they are right there. They are right next to– to our state.

I watched this and now I know that Obama is going to win by a landslide. It's a shame, too, because our country is ready for a woman to take a high office, it's just not going to be Sarah Palin. She's too dumb.

U.S. Bailout deal reached - UPDATE - no deal!

Like your money, taxpayers?

Well, you can officially say goodbye to $700 billion dollars of it.

In an effort to rescue our failing economy, lawmakers have reportedly reached a deal that they hope to have passed with the House of Representatives and the Senate.

In related news, there's a site that all of us can go to, to listed our unwanted crap for astronomical amounts. Want to get rid of that old 8-track? How bout those VHS tapes? How about a President that mispronounces words and does nothing for us? It's all there.

"Do You Want A Black President?"

That's the question being asked by a White supremacist group in New Jersey.

On The Smoking Gun, there's an article about a white supremacist group who are passing out flyers in a New Jersey neighborhood, asking the question: "Do You Want A Black President?"

The leaflet that's been passed out can be viewed here.

The leaflet, which some Roxbury, N.J. residents found Saturday in their driveways, claims that "Black Ruled Nations most unstable and violent in the world," and asks, "Why should we seal our fate by allowing a Black ruler to destroy us?" The one-page flyer, which misspells the Democratic presidential candidate's first name, includes a doctored photo purporting to show Obama wearing a turban.

It's a shame that it's come to this. Voters, do not place your vote based on the candidate's race, but on the issues that he supports. I'm not necessarily an Obama supporter and definitely not a McCain supporter, so my vote will be based on who knows more about getting us out of the pickles that we've found ourselves in.

It's sheer idiocy that that these people utter such racism. In answer to their question, Yes, I'll take a smart black president over a white idiot who takes an ignorant woman as his VP.
