Lily Allen has quit smoking

After Lily Allen suffered from her second asthma attack in a week, she has decided to give up cancer sticks for good.

Apparently the singer almost choked on a falafel, which got lodged in her throat, causing her to fight for air.

She said that she was so scared by the incident that she decided to give up smoking.

She posted this on her Twitter page, "Had a major choking fit on that falafel earlier, which then turned into an asthma attack.  Second one of the week 'lays off fags'.  Eeuugh.  There's still falafel coming out of my nose."

Is that damage control for when the snappers find photos of her with white stuff in her nose?

I'm sorry that she had to go through two asthma attacks in one week before she released that smoking is bad for her.
