Lindsay Lohan & Samantha Ronson are not breaking up

Lindsay Lohan took to her MySpace blog earlier today to dispense with the rumors that her and Samantha Ronson are on the outs.

She writes:

oy vey! rumors..

just to clear this up.. because i have been getting a lot of emails asking me this one question.

So there you have it!  All in one little posting, she confirmed that she actually is in a relationship with Samantha Ronson and that they're not breaking up.  Good for her.  It's no use being dishonest about it.  Just be happy.

Nick Cannon buys Mariah Carey a ski lodge

Nick Cannon is such a generous dude.  So much, that he purchased a luxury ski lodge in Aspen for his wife, Mariah Carey.  What a nice little present.

He reportedly splurged $1.5 million on the five bedroom ski chalet for her as a Christmas present.  It's good to be rich.

A source says, "Nick is clearly still in the honeymoon phase.  He's shocked all their pals by going out of his way to buy Mariah this beautiful sanctuary.  He knows Aspen is one of her favorite places in the world so this is his early Christmas present to her."

They're going to squirt out babies that are made of gold before you know it!

I blame Axl Rose's dreads

Head honchos at Geffen are ticked off that Chinese Democracy didn't do as well as they thought it would.  They're blaming Axl Rose for the lackluster sales and say that he should've promoted the album more. 

A source says, "Everyone knows Axl is a bit of a maverick genius and won't do anything he doesn't want to do.  The label is really glad to have him back.  But it is frustrating because the album would have had a much better chance going to #1 if he had only been prepared to show his face.  People have been trying to contact him for two months and he's been completely AWOL.  You would have thought after spending 15 years on an album you might do a few weeks promotion."

I blame his forehead which is obviously eating his hairline and that nasty chin fuzz that he's got going on.  What the f&@! happened to Axl Rose?  He used to be hot.

Madonna takes home the top bounty

Madonna is on her Sticky & Sweet tour promoting her album, Hard Candy.  She's set to bring home a cool $282 million, which lands her in the top spot for a solo act.

Not too bad for a few months of work, huh? 

Her current tour kicked off in August and is set to come to an end later on this month. 

She even beat out her previous record of $193.7 million from her 2006 Confessions tour.

Must be nice!  That's a lot of blessed Kabbalah water!!

John Corbett to return to Sex & the City?

John Corbett is looking to reprise his role as Aiden in the sequel to the Sex and the City movie.

I was upset to see that Aiden didn't make the cut in the first movie.  He was an essential part of Carrie's life and was the only other man to have proposed to her in the series.  She cheated on him with Big, but that doesn't mean that he can't make a comeback or even a cameo in the next movie.

Corbett hopes that his character will be able to make that comeback and steal Carrie from Big.  He says, "I'd relish that moment more than you can ever imagine.  There may even be a murder involved.  It's payback.  I think Mr. Big deserves it.  It'd make a great ending to the movie."

So, in his vision, Aiden kills off Mr. Big and then they're together?  Even though this is a movie, if his character killed off Big, it would be sufficient to say that he'd go to jail and Carrie would be alone. 

If they're going to kill off Big, they should just give him a heart attack, and have Aiden see her while she's visiting him in the hospital.  This is where they would get closer together, while Big is in a coma of some sort.  They'd bond and after Big died, they'd hook up again.  Pity sex.  It's the only way I could see Aiden getting back together with Carrie.

Kirk Cameron's Fireproof movie to benefit the community

A portion of the proceeds from Kirk Cameron's new movie Fireproof will be donated to the community where the film was shot.

The film was shot in Albany, Georgia, and the community there are set to benefit from the movie's success.

Kirk says, "There's a community sports park that's being built and they have basketball courts, tennis courts, walking trails, horse stables and riding trails and a hockey ring and all kinds of things.  So we're investing back into the community that helped volunteer to make the movie."

File this under: Celebs doing good.  It's rare so we have to recognize Kirk's ideals in helping out the community.

Ellen DeGeneres is more in love now that she's married

Ellen DeGeneres says that she feels "blessed" since marrying her longtime girlfriend Portia De Rossi.  She says that married life has made her feel "more in love."

How sweet!

She says that her marriage has changed her and that she struggles to remember that she has a wife instead of a girlfriend.

She says, "My heart just feels a little bit different, softer, and somehow more in love.  I don't know how.  But it feels just really romantic and lovely.  I keep saying 'my girlfriend', but I have to go to 'wife'.

These two have got to be my favorite gay celebrity couple.  They are so cute together and look genuinely happy.

Heath Ledger's insurance company is trying not to pay

It's a shame that it's come to this.  In January, Heath Ledger passed away from what was deemed an accidental overdose of prescription medications.

Well, his insurance company, ReliaStar, is dragging its feet in paying the claim.  They've stated that they are trying to investigate whether or not Heath committed suicide.  Even though the medical examiner already pronounced his death an accident.

If that wasn't bad enough, they're also trying to claim that Heath lied on his application, which would also make it null and void.

Lawyers acting on behalf of Matilda Ledger are suing the insurance company.  They say that it's a transparent ploy to avoid paying the money.

Sheisty mofos!  Trying to scam a two-year-old out of her money.  Now that's just low.

Heather Locklear arrested last night!

Two months after getting out of a rehab center in Arizona, Heather Locklear was arrested Saturday night.

According to the California Highway Patrol, she was arrested and held in Santa Barbara County, last night.

She was released today and no further details of the arrest have been made public.

So that only leaves us to speculate as to why she got arrested.  DUI?

Ryan Reynolds & Scarlett Johansson got married!

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds have tied the knot in a quiet ceremony in Canada, yesterday.

The couple reportedly exchanged vows at a picturesque resort outside of Vancouver.

Congrats!

Scarlett's a lucky girl!  Not only is Ryan hot, but he'd fly a few thousand miles just to have lunch with her!

R.I.P. Paul Newman (1925 - 2008)

Paul Newman has passed away yesterday of cancer at his farmhouse in Westport, CT.

He was surrounded by friends and family at the time of his passing.  He was 83 years old.

He is survived by his wife Joanne Woodward.

May he rest in peace.

Shia LaBeouf didn't know he smashed his hand in the accident

When he flipped his truck over twice, Shia LaBeouf had no idea that he smashed his hand.  His concern at the time was getting Isabel Lucas out of the truck.

He says, "You're in fight or flight mode.  There was a lot going on.  It hit on her side, so I was extremely fearful of that and then it was about getting her out, getting the people in the other car out, and only after everything's settled, then you realize what's happened."

Shia acted selflessly, where he shown great caring for another person.  Kudos to him on that.

Think they're a couple or was he just being a good samaritan?

Stan Lee wants Will Smith to be a black Captain America

Comic book creator Stan Lee wants to make Will Smith the first black Captain America, but only if Barack Obama wins the presidential election.

A movie version of the comic is planned for 2011.

Matthew McConaughey was tipped to play the role, but Stan says it could go to Will if Obama becomes the first black president.

Stan says, "I would love us to do something with Will Smith.  It would be a real leap to make Captain America black...but then again, I don't know.  It might be a really smart thing.  If Barack Obama becomes President who knows....suddenly a lot of our characters will be black!"

I could definitely see Will Smith as Captain America.  There really isn't a part that he couldn't play.  He's that good of an actor.  Am I alone in this?

Gay leaders applaud Clay Aiken

Clay Aiken recently made the tough decision to come out to People magazine.  He has thrilled officials at GLAAD as they are saluting him for going public with the news.

GLAAD President Neil Giuliano says, "We congratulate Clay for making this decision and for setting an example for others and his family.  As we're seeing, more and more gay people, including celebrities, are living openly and honestly, and this has tremendous impact in terms of creating awareness and acceptance."

As for the claymates, while on the boards lurking, I noticed that they were all pretty much in a state of shock.  I can imagine they were alone in that one.  I knew he was gay when he was on American Idol.  It wasn't news then and it really isn't now, but we are happy for him if he's happy.

Travis Barker is getting out of the hospital in two weeks

According to his buddy Jermaine Dupri who visited him in the hospital, Travis Barker will be healthy enough to be released in two weeks.

He says that Travis is doing well and feeling the love from his fans.

He has a newly customized hospital room, complete with computers and iPods, and everything he needs.  Dupri says, "You got to make sure he is comfortable."

DJ AM is already back in L.A., after his hospital stay.  Smart guy, he took a bus.  Can't say that I blame him at all.

Best wishes to DJ AM and Travis Barker.  Our condolences go out to the families of those lost.  They are in our prayers.

Porn painting/collage of Paris Hilton

Jonathan Yeo, a well-known British artist, is exhibiting his collage portraits of George W. Bush and Paris Hilton.  So what makes these portraits so special?  They're made entirely out of porn, much like Paris' career.

He got the idea for the collages when the White House canceled a commission to paint Bush in 2004.  He did the collage anyway, but this time using pieces of porno mags.

The best magazine cover...ever

Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart teamed up for the cover of the new Entertainment Weekly.  This is pure comedy genius.

I love these two.  The Colbert Report is definitely one of my favorite shows on Comedy Central.

Nice fist bump, guys, now we know who the terrorists are.

David Blaine knows he sucks

David Blaine had a spiffy finale planned for his latest "stunt".  Apparently, he was supposed to dive from the platform and be whisked away by balloons. 

But, as we already know, things didn't go according to plan.  According to him, it was due to none other than mother nature.

He says, "I wasn't going to let everybody down, so I just jumped, and somehow the guys with the balloons made it work, and they pulled me slowly up and I went over into the park and they pulled me down."

All of that was done to the sound of boos from the crowd.
